Quiet Day

Guess I will get some crocheting done today - nothing much else to do till dinner time. For some reason this blue afghan is taking forever - or is it just me wanting it to be done so I can go on to other things?
Just found out that a blogger I have been commenting to lives in the Philippines - this is a total coincidence - I lived in the Philippines for about seven years. It isn't about crocheting but just life which we all live and have to learn lessons from.

yes, the philippines is a wonderfully beautiful place to live in. blessed with gorgeuos beaches, bountiful mountains and endless natural resources, not only is it a melting pot of cultures but a testament to god's greatness. sadly, the economy, political scenery and government do not resonate the same. i remain hopeful though, and dream that someday the philippines will become a great nation.

indeed, it is a small world after all. this internet, world-wide-web thing never ceases to amaze me! i guess i haven't copmletely fathomed how far it can reach, heck, i haven't really mastered the blogging thing yet! coincidence, maybe...but i have to say it flatters me to know someone actually spends the time reading the blog of a total stranger. thank you for your comments ;-) in it's own little way, it brings an extra burst of sunshine my way!
p.s. saw your daughter's picture with her "frog" dog. coincidence??? hehehe. good luck with the pancit. try the filipino stores or chinese stores to get good canton or bijon noodles (of course depending on what kind of pancit you wanted). bon appetit!
