Wet Stuff
For about ten minutes yesterday afternoon this wet stuff started falling from the sky. It took us a few minutes but we regonized it - it was Rain. It had been so long since any fell everyone was calling everyone else to see if they were getting rain also. The weather man says we should get some more because a tropical depression is coming our way. We sorely need the rain. The frogs were in full chorus last night.

Hope you're not in for a spell of horrible weather.
Bull frogs? Peepers? All of the above?
I love the sound of frogs.
I hope you get lots more rain if you need it. We certainly do, and happily we did get one and three quarter inches yesterday.
I love the sound of the frogs in the rain (as long as they're not cane toads).
About the Thursday Thirteen - the theme is one you make yourself. It can be any old thing you want - and you don't even need a theme. Oh, and my rant about people leaving names and not comments - you're safe from my wrath. It was mainly directed at those who drop their name by and expect me to go to their Thursday Thirteen and then leave a comment with them. Here I go again... don't get me started.
Hi
I'm stopping by after a visit to granny, and have been reading some of your back post. Sounds like you have an interesting blog here. I will be back again for another visit
I know the feeling. Sometimes when it hasn't raind in a long time, it seems strange when it does.
You know my hubby, woke up and runs into the living room, where I'm snoring on the couch (my hips feel better in the morning), and wakes me up with this look on his face saying "What's that racket?"
and I listen for a minute, and turn over saying, "haven't you ever been serenaded by frogs before? Consider it a lullabye!" and I promptly proceeded to snore again.
It's raining here this morning. I'm glad you finally got some much needed rain and I'm glad the tropical depression is just that. Looks like Albert broke up...that was good and he'll be leaving you more rain.
It starts getting droughty here around July, when the heat kicks up a few notches.
Wow! Look at it pour! We have sun right now, but it's nice and cool ... around 75 degrees.
Has it stopped yet?
