Yarn Search

My sis picked me up this afternoon and we went on a yarn search. She needed a certain shade to finish an afghan but first we had to stop at big lots. Found a few goodies in the food isle and bought myself a three dollar movie - Mortal Thoughts - has to be pretty good it has Bruce Willess in it.
Here is Sis trying to find the yarn she needed in Jo Ann's. There is suppose to be no lot number so each color is suppose to match but these that were suppose to be brilliant white had a purple tint to them. Sis is going to email the company and try to find the yarn she needs on line. She checked out Michaels and Wal Mart too but no luck.
I was just graping the yarn to feel it really - I have to use up some of the yarn I still have before buying more but oh it was so nice to see all that yarn.
Of course we had to stop and eat a bite. We were both craving burgers so Steak and Shake was the perfect place. We bought the smallest milk shakes they sell but ended up having to get to go cups for them we were so full.

It was a really nice day. I am so lucky that I have such a wonderful sis. She has helped me through my grieving for Steve too.

The pictures turned out great! And the froggy on my blog needs you to click on each fly to help him catch them all. Make sure you turn up the volume! It's very cute. Ronnie liked it. Also, I put a "Simon Says" game over to the left and down some. It brought back some memories. Have fun!

I wish that I could have been with you and groped all that yarn too. I've never seen so many bins of yarn and I'm afraid that Jimmy would have confiscated the checkbook while I was in JoAnns. You two looked like you had fun.

There's nothing like a sister to spend the day with.
