Quiet

Steph's two oldest girls left Wednesday morning for Maryland. Their flight was delayed twice because of the storm we had here. Steph, the baby and her mother in law went to St. Louis. Unfortunately Steph's mother in law had some sort of seizure when they arrived and died. I feel bad for them but at least Mike did get to see his mother one last time.

I have been busy packing. Moving to a new place. It is very tiny but just right for me. I had the mission here today taking away a lot of stuff Steph left behind and a lot of stuff that I won't need any more. When you set out to cook for one person you don't need a lot of pots and pans. Two trips to the library too to donate books. Just have to be ruthless with myself and get rid of stuff. I am sure once I try moving in I will be making a few trips to the mission to get rid of stuff.

For the first time in months Moocher came inside and ate and stayed in for a while. He jumped up in my lap and we had a real petting and loving time. That is the first time he has been in my lap since Steph moved in.

It is so peaceful here now. Now I can do what I want to do and not have to watch kids all the time. Almost everything is packed. Can't wait to get moved.
